It all started in 2022, with the first version of Truamatarium, which at the time was meant to be a quick 15 minute game, with one randomly generated dungeon.
After an incredible response to the game, the scope slowly grew, with the help of the itch.io community. By the end, the game now had four main dungeons, an extra secret dungeon, as well as a whole town to explore.
September saw the first physical release of the game, a small 45 copy run that I built by hand in a custom box, with a glow-in-the-dark cartridge.
2023 saw a huge step forward with the help of the amazing people at Broke Studio. We went to Kickstarter to fund the first full proper physical release of the game.
After the campaign, the game saw full wide release on their site, available now!
Lastly, that year also saw Traumatarium release on the Nintendo Switch! Thanks to the kind folks at Caracal games, it was one of the first GB Studio games to get a digital release on the console!
